Co-authored with Sherry Pees, a period home consultant, Authenticating a Country Dwelling is not a house tour book. It is an educational tool to provide the country decorator the education to authenticate a period home which is quite different than merely decorating a room. Pictures are used to elaborate each 'Pees Point' and the book is designed by rooms.

Is it possible to get on an automatic shipping list?

Yes we have many customers and shops that are on what we call 'auto ship'. We keep your credit card on file and each time a new book is available we charge your credit card and mail it out immediately. No need to go online to purchase. We keep you on auto-ship until you notify us to remove your name.

I received my taper candle but can’t get the timer to set?
A.
Remove the AA battery, screw on the cap and your candle should light immediately. Push in the button on the bottom. Once lighted, press the center of the bottom cap and hold it a few seconds until the light blinks. Your candle is now set for 5 hours to remain on.

What happens when I put batteries in my pillar candle and it won’t start?
A.
I've not known a Luminara pillar candle to be defective. Sometimes when shipped, the connection between the LED component and the batteries is compromised. Once you are certain the 2 D batteries are correctly installed, try 'plucking' or 'twanging' the coil in the receptacle as well as on the lid. This usually solves the problem. You can also gently shake the candle if necessary.

I’m missing a few books and want to collect them all. Do you have any of the earlier books in stock?

Any books I have in stock are listed on my website, on ebay under 'superct' or on Amazon. I occasionally am able to buy back copies from shops which are closing. When I receive the books, I list them on ebay to be fair to everyone looking for earlier copies.

Will you be reprinting any of the earlier books?

I've reprinted the earlier books once or twice and don't have plans to reprint any at this time.

How many books will fit in a flat rate ?

We can fit up to 12 books in a priority flat rate box for $11.30 domestic shipping plus $3.50 insurance.

Do you combine shipping?
A.
Yes we always combine shipping to save you costs. If you purchase two books at the same time, we send them in a flat rate priority envelope for $5.25. I then reimburse over charges on shipping through paypal. We also combine shipping on any candle orders to save shipping costs.
